Glamour Magazine Fashion Event

I had the wonderful privilege of being invited by
Glamour Magazine to a small fashion social event hosted by Glamour, Polyvore,
Jawbone, and Joie. The evening’s motto was, “There’s no chicer pairing than
fashion and technology.” This event was designed to give exposure to the joint
partnerships between these companies and bring women of Bay Area fashion
together for a chance to meet and mingle with other stylists, fashionistas, and
bloggers to network. The Fashion Event was hosted at Joie’s latest boutique in
Palo Alto's Town & Country Village, celebrating the shop’s opening. I was
honored to have a chance to speak with some of the Bay Area’s most lovely
bloggers. (Check out Jessica Doll’s ethereal and minimalist blog, Hej Doll, Melissa San Vicente’s gorgeous blog, MELSANV, or veteran blogger, Nancy's spiffykerms).
A big thank you to these ladies for graciously
connecting with me (newbie that I am to blogging) and to the wonderful
sponsors-Glamour, Polyvore, Jawbone, and Joie. Additionally, I met the sharp
and classy ladies behind the night’s special event. Co-hosts Amy Wicks, Fashion
Editor at Polyvore, and Danika Laszuk, VP of Marketing at Jawbone, were
especially kind and wonderful to meet.
