The room is all about texture, embroidery, pattern, and playful colors. Just as the dress was a great "clash course" in mixing patterns and elements, this room is all about finding harmony in the myriad details. Sticking with my color palette I chose rely on varying textures to add enough contrast. A room like this should feel alive with movement in organic shapes and patterns. I love all the pom poms and tassels. It's hard to pick a favorite piece but it may be the light blue tassel pillow or the embroidered blanket. They feel so chic and fun (as they should!)!

I wore this outfit originally to Napa (see post here). I love the yellow floral print and embroidery work. It reminded me of moroccan-style embroidery and stud work. This element is what inspired me when creating the room.
